Sorry its been forever (again) since I've posted... I've got a lot going on. I've started Spring courses this year so they've been keeping me busy. They're pretty fun though. I'm taking a Chinese language course which is a blast, and a geography course which is a TON of fun :)
Anyway, once I have more time (in the summer) I'll be posting regularly again. Promise.
... ARTIST! lol. I just created an account on the site Deviantart so I could add my photos and drawings with ease. :) If you wanna check it out, here's the link: http://mistressalcyone.deviantart.com/ I have the same user name so Its easier to find me.
Anywhoo, lemme know what you think :) I only have one thing up so far but I'll be adding more probably today.
It's almost here!! 6 days till Christmas! Time to make that fruit cake, wrap those presents, and get yer butts into church. :) Christmas for my family means several things: the smell of shortbread cookies, decorating the Christmas tree together, and sitting around the t.v. watching Christmas specials. "The Grinch" (both the original and the Jim Carey one are awesome), "A Charlie Brown Christmas", and "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation" are usually the top faves.
So anyway, from my family to yours,
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, etc... in other words,
Its been forever, I know! hah. Just an update post to tell y'all that I'm still alive, just burried under mounds of university homework. hah. Exams are coming up soon and them I'm off for a while, so hopefully that will give me more time to blog.
Wish me luck!

Okay my lady readers, listen up! I want you to do something for me...
Step 1: Go to the nearest mirror
Step 2: Smile
Step 3: Say "I AM BEAUTIFUL!"
Thats right. Think back. When is the last time you've done this? It's probably been to long. Girls these days are extremely impressionable and I never really noticed just how impressionable they were until I spent some time with my younger cousin.
She's 12 years old, loves to cheer and play sports, has some pretty sweet grades in school and has a ton of awesome friends. Sounds like a pretty sweet life, right? That's what I thought until I heard her say "Man I have a big stomach! I need some bigger boobs too... *sigh*" Okay, I've never wanted to give someone the "v8 slap" so much in my life. To put it lightly, I had a little talk with her... Is this how the next generation is seeing themselves? Oy vey.
So, to all you out there who think you're not pretty for any reason: SHUT UP! You are. So, do what I told you and repeat the 3 steps as often as it takes for you to believe it, and then keep doing it.
This ends my rant-ish thing for the day.
Until next time,
Live, Love, Laugh
*DOVE has a great campaign going to help women of all ages see their true beauty. Check it out!!
I've been on my diet for a good three weeks now, and I'm trying my best to be good. To be honest, if I didn't have my cheat day, I'd be going nuts by now... oy...
So, just to make things more interesting, I'm going to start posting my weight every week as I weigh myself in. Thats right... the ultimate form of embarrassment: saying your weight out loud. When I started the diet I was 215lbs... and I am now 211lbs. There. I said it. hah.
My goal is to be about 200lbs by the time I start back to school. a.k.a: September 8th. 11 pounds in 1 month? I think I can do that... but I gotta be good... real good. Time to break out the treadmill and start doing those crunches. Wish me luck!
Oh, and I'd like to thank Georgina Dollface for the great tip she gave me earlier in a comment. "Always eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking." Before the diet I never ate breakfast... not sure why, just never had the time I guess... Now I make sure I have at least a breakfast shake before I leave the house, and I'm sure to keep it in the 1 hour time frame. Just by having even a quickie breakfast I automatically become more energized and awake. It's awesome!
Anywhoo, Thats all I got for today. Until next time,
Hey, I'm Missy. I'm a 20 year-old Canadian trying to find her place in the world. I consider myself a fairly good photographer and enjoy all forms of Art. I love to act and have had some acting experience through our Shakespeare troupe at university, as well as a couple improv groups.
